Today, I am thankful for:

• Sister being in Spain!
• Mom and Dad for being so patient these past 6 months.
• Brother and Sister…mostly because they gave me a furry niece and nephew (kidding…kinda!)
• The butcher, who kindly agreed to cook our turkey for us since our oven is out of commission!
• Great friends, some of whom will experience their first Thanksgiving today!
• Skype, as always, for making my time away from home that much easier.
• My host family, for taking me in as one of their own and never making me feel like an outsider.
• Sister again, for being willing to fill her suitcase with MY clothes to help ease my trip home!
• 12 days until America!

I have so, so many things to rejoice and celebrate today and every other day, and I am so excited that I get to spend this time with my sister! I can’t wait to be home, but I am also ready to take advantage of my last full week in Spain!

Bring on the turkey!
